Clinical work, Counselling & Coaching

We work on the basis of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and support people with different mental health issues. Our approach combines evidence-based psychotherapeutic methods with insights from contemporary mental health research. We apply principles of individualised and holistic treatment approach.

Additionally, we offer psychological counselling and life coaching for individuals who experience a wide range of emotional, psychological, and life difficulties.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is one of the most extensively investigated evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatment. CBT is a structured and goal-oriented form of psychotherapy that focuses on the relationships between thoughts, emotions, and behaviour. By helping individuals recognise unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, CBT supports the development of healthier and more adaptive ways of responding to everyday challenges.

A central focus of CBT is the development of practical strategies and psychological skills that help individuals manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve their overall psychological well-being. Because of its strong scientific foundation and practical orientation, CBT is widely used in modern mental health care and has been shown to be effective in the treatment of conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and eating disorders.

Conditions we work with

We provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychological support for individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including:

Depressive disorders

Depressive disorders are one of the most common mental health conditions that affect multiple aspects of a person’s life. It may involve persistent feelings of sadness, loss of motivation or interest in activities, fatigue, difficulties concentrating, and changes in sleep or appetite. People experiencing depression may also feel hopeless, overwhelmed, or emotionally numb.

CBT helps individuals understand how negative thought patterns and behavioural habits can contribute to depressive symptoms. Through structured therapeutic work, clients learn strategies to gradually change these patterns, regain motivation, and improve emotional well-being.

Anxiety disorders

Anxiety disorders can manifest in different ways, including persistent worry, excessive fear, panic attacks, or physical symptoms such as increased heart rate, tension, dizziness, or shortness of breath. Anxiety may interfere with daily activities, work, relationships, and overall quality of life.

In CBT of anxiety disorders, individuals learn to recognise the thought patterns and behavioural responses that maintain anxiety. Therapy focuses on developing practical skills to manage anxious thoughts, regulate emotional responses, and gradually face feared situations in a safe and structured way.

Eating disorders

Eating disorders involve complex difficulties related to eating behaviour, body image, and emotional regulation. Conditions such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder can have significant psychological and physical consequences.

Psychological treatment focuses on understanding the emotional and cognitive factors that influence eating behaviours. Therapy supports individuals in developing healthier relationships with food, body image, and self-perception, while addressing underlying emotional difficulties.

Borderline personality disorder

Borderline personality disorder is a condition that can involve intense emotional experiences, difficulties with emotional regulation, and challenges in relationships with others. People may experience rapid mood changes, strong emotional reactions, feelings of emptiness, fear of abandonment, or difficulties managing impulses. These experiences can make everyday life and relationships particularly challenging and may lead to periods of emotional distress or instability.

Psychological therapy can help individuals better understand the emotional patterns underlying these difficulties and develop more effective strategies for managing emotions, relationships, and stressful situations. Evidence-based therapeutic approaches support the development of emotional regulation skills, improved self-awareness, and healthier interpersonal patterns, helping individuals achieve greater stability and well-being.

Counselling and Psychological Support

In addition to structured psychotherapy, we provide counselling for family members of people with mental disorders as well as for healthy individuals who may experience stress, emotional difficulties, life transitions, or challenging personal circumstances. Counselling offers a supportive and confidential space to reflect on personal concerns, develop coping strategies, and gain greater clarity and resilience in everyday life.

Life Coaching
Life coaching focuses on personal development, goal setting, and improving overall life satisfaction. Through structured conversations and practical exercises, coaching supports individuals in clarifying their goals, overcoming obstacles, improving decision-making, and developing strategies for personal and professional growth.
